What Is Individual Therapy?

Individual therapy, also known as talk therapy or counseling, is a collaborative process that is rooted in a strong therapeutic relationship. It involves a private and confidential space where individuals can explore their thoughts, feelings, and challenges. Treatment is tailored to meet each person’s unique set of needs and goals. Sessions typically last about 50 minutes and are scheduled weekly. 

While talking is the main task of therapy, it is much more than a place to simply talk or vent. 

Therapy is a space to find relief from your suffering, enhance your relationship with yourself and others, unlock new possibilities, and deepen your experience of life.
